Role Summary:
TRD Energy is a well-established solar energy company driven by a passionate team dedicated to helping Malaysians reduce their electricity bills and embrace a greener lifestyle through NEM solar photovoltaic systems. We are now seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Sales Executive with a strong passion for renewable energy. Your primary focus will be driving revenue growth by establishing strategic partnerships in Malaysia’s industrial, commercial, and residential markets, including corporate partners, government agencies, and referral programs.
You will manage high-level partnerships, lead negotiations, and close deals to support our business growth. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will work closely with various stakeholders to achieve our goals.
In this role you will:
- Generate direct revenue for the company through consultative B2C sales by understanding and addressing customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing professional support, information, and recommendations while identifying new opportunities to enhance profitability and service quality.
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
- Developing quotes and proposals
- Interact with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings, delivering exceptional after-sales service.
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support
- Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting
To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:
- Experience in B2C sales. Candidates with an engineering background are preferred.
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, Engineering, or Mass Communication.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English. Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp product knowledge.
- Customer-centric mindset with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to travel to client sites for face-to-face meetings and site inspections.
- Must possess own car.
- Required basic software skills: MS Office
- Solar Engineering Project/Business Development Experience is a PLUS
- Candidate will be based in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur office
